When I first came to him a year and a half ago, I didn't know anything about form, breathing technique, or muscle engagement when it came to exercise and lifting weights. My lower back was in pain from walking and I didn't know where to start in terms of getting back in shape.

    Not only was he kind and attentive, but he shared such a wealth of knowledge and helped me understand how to best move and engage my body.     I think I can easily say that I've experienced coaching/training on some level from well over 30 or more individuals. I can tell you that there are some really good coaches and some really awful coaches. And I can say with confidence that Tyler is among the very best of the best!

    From every angle that you look at a coach's skill set - knowledge of proper form to move safely (this is probably the single most important aspect of a coach's skill set because if you hurt yourself due to poor coaching, everything else is not achievable), knowledge of scaling and alternative movements, the ability to help bring about results and the personality to drive you to be your very best, Tyler excels in all of these.

    Hey Tyler first I want to thank you for all the great direction. It has been awesome to work through the many flare ups and limitations my body has presented. The Lat and Knee are feeling like they could start working harder again. The Achilles Tendon feels great and the Shoulders are pain free even if the overhead ROM needs more work.

    I've known Tyler for about 7 years now thru Crossfit. I've not anyone who knows as much about human anatomy and musculature as this man. Which is why he has an answer for everything and anything to do with body pain and aches. All you have to do is point at it, and he will name that muscle immediately and will know exactly what may have caused it and which exercises, movements or stretches are necessary to fix or strengthen it. Tyler also always yearns to learn more and he will take any necessary classes, courses or certification in order to expand his knowledge base ultimately to share and assist all his clients for better health and fitness. But enough about his qualifications! One of the more important characteristics I look for in a coach is his ability to connect with his clients in a manner that will enable and motivate them to keep at it but also to go beyond what they think is their limit. It comes naturally for Tyler because he is genuinely a caring human being. But don't let that fool you. He will not take less than your full effort and attention while he has you.     I’ve really enjoyed doing the program. It has really helped me get a better sense of getting in shape and let me know that I am strong.
